14th July - GRANTCHESTER!

As you may know, yesterday we went on a biking tour to the beautiful town of Grantchester, which is about 4 miles away from Cambridge.

First, we went to Matthew's office to get our bikes:

And then, we were ready to set off for Grantchester! Here are some pictures of the beautiful landscapes we came across:

Some cows came to greet us!
Our guide Matthew giving us some explanations

13th July - SPORTS DAY!

Finally Friday!

As usual, students worked intellectually hard in the morning, so they needed some physical activity in the afternoon to release some energy!

Having researched about cricket, the typical British sport, they all explained us how to play this game, and we had some funny moments. This is how our students immerse in all the aspects of the British culture:

We could also do some other sports like tennis, football, frisbee... Have a look!

While we were enjoying these sports, we met our new international friends and they invited us to join them in a volleyball match. Our students were very pleased about this suggestion, so there we went!

Everyone playing volleyball!

Back home, students relaxed for a while, but then... everyone got ready for the first Pub Quizz about our first week here in Cambridge. Students worked in teams, and did a great job remembering everything they had learnt!

Everyone concentrated during the Pub Quizz!

12th July - WE ARE TOUR GUIDES!

Yesterday, it was a great day!

After our daily work in the library (blogs, diaries, magazine, more challenges...), students had to choose their favourite part of Cambridge by using their maps. They had to take notes and understand everything, because in the afternoon... they became tour guides!

They did a great job and we filmed everything, so you will soon be able to see them live!

Filming around Cambridge!

Homework this time consisted in translating our menu for the whole trip! They all worked as a group exchanging ideas in English.

They kept on practicing their English until the end of the day, when they told some legends during our theme night. They had learnt them so well that we could all immerse in the mythical stories.
